YOU SEE, OBAMA'S 'BRILLIANT' DECISION IN REPLACING GEN. McCHRYSTAL WITH GEN. PETRAEUS INVOLVES SOME 'INCONVENIENT' HISTORY

But Moveon.org and the New York Times have tried to SCRUB THEIR TRACKS!

I've been tweeting a little about this topic including presenting all those commenting on the Rolling Stone article that got Afghanistan Commander Gen. Stanley McChrystal fired with a question:

"Have you actually read this article?

"What exactly is Gen McChrystal quoted as saying that involves failure to obey orders or criticizing the Commander in Chief?"

You see, I HAVE read the article, and you should too ... although I know you won't. It's too easy to accept what the mainstream media feed you - if you pay any attention at all.

The Rolling Stone Article No One Has Read

NOW, amid all this BRILLIANT analysis by people who probably haven't read the article I bring you an inconvenient fact I posted on LJ about in September of 2007.

The Moveon.org "General Betray Us" Ad

GeneralBetrayUs

Well, guess what?

Moveon.org has scrubbed the ad from its site and, as far as I can tell, the New York Times has scrubbed it from the web.

Luckily, as you can see, I saved it in case such a time like this required it.

And while a small number of Democrats voted to condemn the ad, then Senators Barack Obama and Joe Biden refused to vote for it with Obama declaring such a condemnation was a "stunt."

Just wanted to remind you as Pres. Obama, who joined Clinton, Reid, and others in trashing Gen. Petraeus in hearings on the Surge in Iraq calling him, among other things, a "liar."

And now Pres. Obama is hoping this man he vilified, who along with Pres. Bush, succeeded in Iraq while he and the Democrats, who described the war as "lost," came away looking like fools.

And the media, who trashed Petraeus three years ago, love him now.

So I just wanted to remind you of the facts ... because if I don't no one will.

Yep, we weren't happy about this either.

Well, that was a vague and generic reply. :-D

You have no idea how all of this has gotten me worked up, on so many levels. Especially after I actually read the article written by this little worm. Tens of thousands of troops played like pawns in this disgusting political spectacle and media circus.

Surprisingly, about the only journalist who had what I consider the proper reaction was - get this - Geraldo Rivera.

I was so surprised.

But don't worry, I'll let you slide with your one size fits all comment this time. *lol*
