IT’S CALLED ’CRONY CAPITALISM” IN POLITE COMPANY AND, CONTRARY TO WHAT MOST LIBERALS THINK, IS AT THE HEART OF FASCISM

Anyone shocked?

Let’s see … General Electric is headed by Jeffrey Inmelt who also heads President Obama’s Jobs Council.

GE receives numerous tax breaks and subsidies from the Obama administration.

GM is still partly owned by the government and also by the auto union - who received special treatment from the Obama administration over the actual legal bondholders and stockholders who got nickels on the dollar as part of the POTUS’ “take it or leave it” mandate when he took over the car company.

Manufacturing of Obama’s favorite boondoggle, the Volt, has been moved by Inmelt to America’s chief creditor, China - which has certainly created more jobs … there.

Now Inmelt has ordered all employees, with a few exceptions, to drive Volts and other hybrid vehicles (company cars) starting later this year.

“Government Electric “Forces” Employees into “Government Motors” Volt

GE expects to save a lot of money in the long run by purchasing the expensive, controversial, unpopular, short-range and high maintenance vehicle.

I wonder how?

Of course GE was in the news last year when we learned it paid no taxes for 2010 so anything’s possible when you play ball with Obama and the central-planners.

Electric cars! Uh ... don't you need coal and nuclear and natural gas to produce that "clean" electricity? And did you see where one of those Euro elctric cars have a problem? When the battery runs down the car locks up (they call it a "brick" and it costs about $40,000 to fix the problem?

Gee ... I hope they don't have too many "poor" people buying these extravagent "Look at me I'm cool!" toy cars?

Now ... to be "fair", how about this GE and GM:

Why not mandate GE and/or GM pay for everyone’s contraceptives as well, instead of allowing Obama to violate the 1st Amendment to the Constitution and thereby accelerate our move to a “post-Constitutional” America?

Maybe the Catholic Church could swap mandates: let Catholics purchase those 12,000 electric vehicles for GE‘s Catholic employees … or would that be discriminatory?

Too "radical"? After all, since the Constitution means nothing anymore, shouldn’t everything be on the table?

Which reminds me … I could sure use some more freezer space these days. Shouldn’t I be entitled to a new refrigerator? I think GE AND GM should foot the bill. They have plenty of money already and I need stuff.

And, after all … they both owe me - big time!

P.S. - Oh, and while I'm thinking big, this is for you, God. How about we start referring to the 10 Commandments as the "10 Suggestions"?

Huh? Can I tread water?

Awww ... you're just kidding. Right?

So was I. ;-)
