what's so important about august 15?

***
NO ONE WANTS TO TALK ABOUT IT, BUT TODAY IS THE DAY OBAMA HAS BYPASSED CONGRESS ONCE AGAIN AND CHANGED IMMIGRATION LAW

The estimate is that 1.7 million people here illegally have been made “legal” with the wave of President Obama’s imperial hand.

Where in the Constitution does the president have the power to make law?

Nowhere. He just does things like this again and again and no one makes a peep.

It’s worse than you think. More people are being included than originally proposed as the order has been expanded to include low-skill people who haven’t gone to high school and they now stand at the front of the line in front of people who have been going through the process the right way … the legal way.

Theoretically, most will be able to get drivers licenses and benefits … and with that, no doubt, the ability to register to vote. And they’ll qualify for in-state tuition rates for those who don’t get grants … ahead of many actual long-term citizens who’ve played by the rules.

Just in time for the 2012 elections.

Tens of millions of people are out of work and now there will be additional strain on the employment situation.

Looking for a job? Good luck!

And spare me the tear-jerking anecdotes.

This is America ... and Americans, and those who want to be Americans, don't mind STANDING IN LINE.

Remember that when you talk to someone who gets pushed further back ... and has to wait even longer to see their dreams fulfilled.

You might want to teach the children ... have them stand in line at the show and when it's their turn, have them go to the back of the line again. Wouldn't that be a good lesson?

The first shall be last and the last shall be first.

Somehow, that's not exactly what it's supposed to mean.

But there's an election in 3 months, so all the rules are out the window.
