five days to liberty, or ...

***
WE'LL KNOW IN A FEW DAYS IF THERE ARE ENOUGH OF US TO PRESERVE THIS NATION
OR IF WE HAVE INDEED REACHED THE 'TIPPING POINT' AND THE WARNINGS HAVE BEEN DISMISSED

Reflect, if you will, on this excerpt from Benjamin Franklin's speech before the Constitutional Convention on September 17, 1787. It was actually delivered by fellow Pennsylvanian James Wilson:

In these sentiments, Sir, I agree to this Constitution with all its faults, if they are such; because I think a general Government necessary for us, and there is no form of Government but what may be a blessing to the people if well administered, and believe farther that this is likely to be well administered for a course of years, and can only end in Despotism, as other forms have done before it, when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic Government, being incapable of any other.

The question will be answered soon.

Have we, the people, become so corrupted as to need despotic Government that we are unable or unwilling to throw off this growing authoritarianism ... and to throw away the gift of liberty that has been passed down to us by our ancestors?

Have decades of indoctrination in the schools and the media, the growing seduction of dependency and entitlement, the vilification of virtually every value and strength that have made this country exceptional given us a majority of people willing to turn their lives over to a ruling class who think they know better than you.

If you believe in the preciousness of the individual and the concept of the limited government and are against tyranny you'll RUN to the polls Tuesday and vote accordingly.

This is not a game. It's not about polls. It's not about personalities. It's not about freebies. It's deadly serious because it will change EVERYTHING.

It's a battle and it's all hands on deck needed to offset a growing number of people who have no apparent attachment to what is happening around them.

And if you don't, and we lose, what a miserable life we all have in store for us.

If this isn't enough to bring you to your senses, to save this country, to re-establish limited Constitutional government, nothing will, and future generations will wonder what the heck you were thinking.
