union power ... in the middle of chaos

***
SOMEONE LOOKED FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA TO DO SOMETHING BUT I THINK HE'S IN LAS VEGAS AFTER HIS PHOTO-OP WITH GOV. CHRIS CHRISTIE ... HE SENDS HUGS, THOUGH

Yep ... there were so many similar SNAFUs like this after Katrina ... which shows what happens when government is involved.

You see, energy crews have been pouring in from neighboring states to help restore power but several companies have been turned away because they are NON-UNION!

Luckily, not all had to go back home with a "Thanks but no thanks."

Crews from Huntsville, Alabama as well as Decatur Utilities and Joe Wheeler out of Trinity headed up there this week, but were told by crews in New Jersey that they can't do any work there since they're not union employees.

So much for "cutting that red tape" huh?

The crews that are in Roanoke, Virginia have already gone back home but the Decatur Utilities are going to Long Island where they're more appreciated.

If your power is out for an extended time please be understanding.

Gotta love that union power ... even in a disaster!
