ASIDE FROM CONTRADICTIONS AND CHANGES IN HER TESTIMONY, WITNESS COULD NOT READ
THE LETTER OF TESTIMONY SHE SUPPOSEDLY WROTE AND SIGNED BECAUSE IT WAS IN CURSIVE

This was painful to watch - and this is the best the prosecution can come up with in this sad and tragic case?

Add that to the claim of the witness, Trayvon Martin's friend Rachel Jeantel, that Marrtin referred to George Zimmerman as a "creepy-ass white cracker" but that it wasn't a racist reference ... or even derogatory.

http://www.mediaite.com/tv/witness-trayvon-called-george-zimmerman-a-creepy-ass-white-kill-my-neighbors-cracker/

All this in a case that revolved around race from the very beginning and all but tried and prosecuted George Zimmerman in the media and court of public opinion.

And there are actually people defending her testimony today - who believe she is credible ... repeating the SAME BOGUS talking points that were spread throughout the media from the beginning. And when you try to educate them on the truth they REFUSE to accept it.

Btw, 'someone' clumsily deleted a series of damning tweets she posted to Twitter shortly before the trial.

This is the problem with dealing with and acting on acts instead of what people WANT to be true.

What a disgrace! Facts mean NOTHING anymore. Anywhere.

Aren't you outraged yet at what is happening in this country? Tired of it?

Apparently not ... and THAT is just as disturbing.

To be fair, Zimmer Man is definitely creepy-ass.

Being pale-skinned and pudgy? Oh, wait, that also describes you.

So are you admitting to being "creepy-ass" yourself? And do you believe that if you look at someone too long he has the right to leap on you, break your nose, and try to bash your head against the sidewalk?

Or does this proposed rule only apply to pale-skinned Hispanics?

I'm on the threshold of underweight and normal. Darkened by summer.

If so, congratulations for the rapid and successful dieting. But even if you were overweight and pale-skinned, it still wouldn't be ok to try to murder you just for acting creepy, now would it?

I've always been like this. Never been above 60 kg.

And Zimmerman was stalking some kid while armed. Can't say I've done that.

So it's ok to try to murder someone for following you around if that person is armed, even if that person does not at any time attack or even threaten to attack you?

Not the best idea, but, yeah, it would probably fall under self defense.

(*boggles*)

No, it does not "fall under self defense" to try to murder someone for following you around just because the follower is armed, even if that person does not at any time attack or even threaten to attack you. Neither criminal law nor common sense hold that a man is attempting to kill you or even harm you just because he is following you and armed. Specifically, one cannot assume that simply because a man is armed that his intentions are hostile.

To claim self-defense, one must be able to show that the other party was attempting to commit a violent crime against oneself. Simply following one and speaking to one, even in a less-than-friendly manner, is no crime at all.

Do you realize that, under your proposed standard, two parties would have the right to claim self-defense against each other even if NEITHER party first did or said anything hostile? This would be a prescription for constant paranoid and pointless battles.

This is, of course, the proposed standard of "thug" culture, which is exactly why Trayvon Martin laucnhed his unprovoked, violent, and ultimately fatally foolish attack against George Zimmerman.

I feel sorry for the jury in that they are damned if they find him not guilty as he most definitely is. Of course even if they have the courage to find him not guilty you can almost be sure that the Federal Justice Department will file new charges so that he will be tried in the Federal Court System. Similar to what the Feds did in the Rodney King case when the police officers involved were found not guilty by a California State Court but charged shortly afterwards by the Federal Justice Department and found guilty. Justice is no longer based on the facts here in the USA but on politics. BIzarro World

The really hilarious part is that she's supposed to be the prosecution's star witness. Makes me wonder if the prosecutor didn't have an attack of conscience and deliberately sabotage his own case ...
