THAT'S NINE COMPLETED AND, AS FAR AS I KNOW, NO MORE TO GO! YAY!?!

Yes, I only just finished the last of my friends' poems, this one being for my good friend Judith, AKA dadoffille. That's nine poems in twenty-five days, not too bad a pace. It sure was fun, if exhausting sometimes ... a labor of love though. If you'd like to check out Judith's poem, you can go here, where it is at the very bottom of the page:

Hope you like it JuJu! :D

ALSO, from my good friend tniassaint who gave me the letter "R".

Reply and I'll give you a letter and you have to find ten songs that start with that letter and post them to your journal. Try to come up with a list without googling & looking through your collection first. . .

Here's my list:

01) Rock 'n' Roll - Lou Reed
02) Rainy Night in Georgia - Ray Charles
03) Refugee - Tom Petty
04) Rebel, Rebel - David Bowie
05) Red Hot - Robert Gordon
06) Rocky Raccoon - The Beatles
07) Roadhouse Blues - The Doors
08) Rocket Man - Elton John
09) Rubber Biscuit - The Blues Brothers
10) Return to Sender - Elvis

Give it a try! It's fun but harder than you think.

I never had a dog that liked me some
Never had a friend or wanted one
So I just lay back and laugh at the sun
'cause I'm in shoo-shoo-shoo, shoo-shoo-shoo
Shoo-shoo, shoo-shoo, shoo-shoo Sugar Town

Now, shooo! **LOL**

I loved your poem for Judith, too. Very atmospheric.

So, you were probably not the typical tomboy then? I mean, if you were, it was not in jeans and t-shirts, mostly in dresses and sensible shoes.

Wish I could just punch up a lot of songs I don't know whenever I wanted. I don't dare do stuff like that because I'd never get away from the computer.

I'm not showing off, I was just on a roll...
Once I started thinking about it, they just kept coming! So there's a lot more than 10 here:

HIKARI (Hikaru Utada; it means 'light')
HIGEKI HA MABUTA WO OROSHITA YASASHIKI UTSU (Dir En Grey; it means 'tragedy closes the eyelid, it comes kindly')
HAPPY, HAPPY, JOY, JOY (off the Ren & Stimpy soundtrack)
HEAVEN (Red Lorry Yellow Lorry)
HELP! (the Beatles)
HER Only sIN (Christian Death; remind you of a certain Velvet Underground title? It’s no coincidence, since they covered VENUS IN FURS)
HITORIJANAI (Deen; it means 'you are not alone' & was used as an end theme for the anime DRAGONBALL GT)
HIGH VOLTAGE (Linkin Park)
HAUNTED (Evanescence)
HELLA GOOD (No Doubt)
HERO (Chad Kroger & Josey I-can’t-remember-his-last-name-but-he’s-the-guy-from-Saliva, off the SPIDER-MAN movie soundtrack; there are also 2 other songs with this title, one by Qazi Touqueer [one of the pair of winners of the Indian version of American Idol] & another that was used as the theme for one of the DRAGONBALL Z movies)
HEAVEN’S NOT ENOUGH (Steve Conte/Yoko Kanno, off the WOLF’S RAIN soundtrack)
HELLO (different songs, same title - Hyde or Lionel Ritchie)
HALLOWEEN (I have, like, SIX different songs with this title, by artists such as Siouxsie & the Banshees, Japan, & the Misfits)
HOT HOT HOT (the Cure)
HOLD ME (Fleetwood Mac)
HOLD ME, THRILL ME, KISS ME, KILL ME (U2)
HEART OF GLASS (Blondie)
HEART & SOUL (Huey Lewis & the News)
HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN (the Animals)
HE HIT ME (& IT FELT LIKE A KISS) (Hole did a cover of this on Mtv Unplugged; can’t remember who they said the original artist was, though)
