After being taken to the woodshed by 71 year-old John McCain at Saddleback:

Ahem ... uh ... uh ... uhh ... Never Mind!

From The Weekly Standard

If you want to read some absolutely hysterical comments, check out the liberal blogs like daily kos, huffington post, etc. and indulge yourselves as the leftists among us whine, spin, and beat their breasts in response to their messiah's dismal performance at the Saddleback forum. Bring your own cheese ... and some hankies to wipe the tears (of laughter) from your eyes.

Of course the media pundits are obsessing on the big fat egg Obama laid and are trying to graft legs on the "cone of silence" story. They are so so worried about this, and it shows. Not a word about the infanticide story, and proof Obama lied about it, but they jump on leftist spin for two days running. They are so predictable and transparent.

Like Obama, they are linear thinkers who can only regurgitate what they feed on. Every time Obama opens his mouth without a teleprompter, he proves that point.

Of course Obama's true believers need not worry. The moderated debates with the networks' generic pre-packaged questions and sound-bite responses may save the redeemer yet. They're working on that now as we speak.

Until then ...

The truth often hurts, I know. You can take it.

BONUS - Any predictions for Obama's VP choice? I'm pulling for Joe "The Mouth that Roared" Biden. Just what Obama needs. A running-mate who loves putting his foot in his mouth. Remember Biden referring to Obama as "the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.”?

As Kasper Gutman says to Sam Spade in The Maltese Falcon, "I distrust a close-mouthed man. He generally picks the wrong time to talk and says the wrong things. Talking’s something you can’t do judiciously, unless you keep in practice."

Go for it Barack. Biden's certainly had lots of practice!

Oh no, I'm no dumb cluck
And I won't throw in the towel
I'm no turkey, I'm no duck
I'm the fairest of the fowl
I am tasteful to the end
I'm your finest feathered friend
I am plucky, I'm unflappable, I am Chicken!
